Today, I’m hosting my first ever virtual coffee break! So grab something to drink and let’s chat about how to avoid the sting of the summer “B’s,” not to be confused with “bees.”
Join the conversation in the comments below after you watch the video. I’d love to know how you avoid the sting of the “b’s.”
For more practical ideas on doing life with others this summer, check out my book Isn’t it Time for a Coffee Break? Doing life together in an all-about-me kind of world. It’s a perfect summer read with short, easy-to-read chapters and packed with practical applications and discussion questions for a summer book club.
I’m joining up with Jen and the Soli Deo Gloria Sisterhood over at Finding Heaven. They are a wonderful group of encouraging women!

Great vlog, Amelia! And great advice for beating the summer b’s! When my kids were young I loved the summer cook-outs and park dates with mom-friends and kids. I hope it warms up soon for you!
Thanks for visiting my place!
Blessings to you ~ Mary

Thanks, Mary! I keep reminding myself that this season (not just summer) really is so short. It’s a bit warmer today too.

I’m on a writing break so I had to come by and see your sweet, beautiful face! I love this. Strangely, I have some strong button-pushers, too! And a whole bunch of scrapbooking supplies. I think our families would make great friends! (And I have to confess, I’m secretly hoping for some mornings in the 50s up there in Michigan so I can get in some cool runs. We are way past those temps in Texas!)
Amelia says
Thanks for stopping by on your break! You run too? Our families would totally be friends. Thanks for the reminder to be grateful for the cooler mornings. It has made for nice running weather. I’m certain the end of June will be cooler than Texas and you’ll get your running wish. See you soon!

Delighted to meet you today. I hope you don’t mind if I splash around a bit to get to know you. This looks like a refreshing place to dip into goodness.
Splashin.
