Today is Day 3 of the Birthday Bash where the presents are all for you! If you haven’t entered to win a copy of Cindy Bultema’s story “He Loves Me” from Day of Discovery, you can still enter here!
It’s been my pleasure to partner with Circle of Friends Ministries over the past few years. In fact my book Isn’t it Time for a Coffee Break? is book #5 in a series of books that Circle of Friends has developed with Barbour Publishing. Each book covers a different topic and is the same format as mine – 6 short, easy-to-read chapters ideal for going through with a small group or a group of girlfriends.
Be sure to check out the other four titles:
Do These Jeans Make Me Look Fat? Breaking the cultural mirror, by Jocelyn Hamsher
Can I Get a Do-over? The grace of second chances, by Elizabeth Ward
Where’s the Nearest Day Spa? Renewing the anxious heart by Emily Smith
Can You Tell This is a Knockoff? Finding your true identity in Christ by Missy Horsfall and Jocelyn Hamsher
Circle of Friends has a variety of resources for women including devotionals, music, daily blogs, and an online daily devotional. Be sure to check out their site here.
Today, Circle of Friends is offering five copies of their new cds “Macchiato Moments” and “Redeemed Retro.” The cd includes the radio singles “Love is the Answer” and “Beautiful.” The songs have a very fun groove and a great message. Check out ibelongmedia.com and macchiatomoments.com for a sampling of the music!
To win a copy of the cd, please leave a comment sharing one fun thing someone has done for your birthday in the past. I’ll draw the winners on Friday.
I’ll start with a quick one of my own: One year for my birthday, Kedron came home on his lunch break with flowers. Tied to one of the flowers was one of my birthday presents – a pretty little ring!

Jeff and I used to work at the same church daycare. He showed up at work before me and had the kids make cards for me and bought flowers for me. It was so cute. The kids were so excited about it. I don’t think I’ve ever gotten so many birthday hugs in my whole life.

One of the best birthdays that I remember recently was when my small group celebrated my birthday with me with cake and a nice night to spend together because I was not able to be home with my family that year. I will always cherish that!

That’s really cool Emma! It’s so special when friends step in for family when they can’t be there!
