🙂 this reminds me…we once knew a family who, for their children’s birthdays, had a birthday party where you weren’t allowed to bring a present for the birthday child~ only an item for the local animal shelter like dog food..or cat treats. I thought that was such a great idea!…and just for kicks threw it out there to my kiddoes as food for thought… yea…that didn’t fly so well. 🙂
