Do you have friends that you feel as though you’ve known your whole life, even though you may have met just recently? That’s how I felt when I met Cindy Bultema last summer at the Speak UpConference. She facilitated one of my critique sessions, and I asked her where she went to church. It turned out that we not only attend the same church (it’s pretty big), but one of her closest friends is a former co-worker of mine. As I thought back over the past 12 years, I realized that I had repeatedly been invited to a Bible study that Cindy led!
Cindy is one of the most encouraging women I know, and she has an incredible story of finding peace, even in the most tragic times of life. I’ve had the joy of watching God open some amazing doors for Cindy over the past six months. Her story will be featured on Day of Discovery and will air on the ION Television Network this Mother’s Day at 7:30 AM EST. The complete program will available to view on May 11 at www.dod.org. I’ve seen a few sneak peaks, and trust me, you don’t want to miss this incredible “only God” story.
From Day of Discovery: “In the DVD presentation, “He Loves Me,” Bible teacher Cindy Bultema shares her personal testimony of God’s power that healed and restored her from a life consumed by addiction, low-self esteem, and loss. Gain a better understanding of God’s love and faithfulness from her experiences. Find hope and encouragement to help you on your own journey to peace. Discover how God can reveal the truth of your identity, pull you through the most tragic times in life, and bring you to a place of peace in Him.”
